Just taken my baby to the dr....?

difficult to tell with infants. she definitely has a fever (anything over 38 c). when an infant is running a temp, it is common for her to be irritable and tired. we all, in fact, get that way with infections. the only way to know if she has swine flu is to test for it. even if she is positive, the treatment is only supportive (tylenol for fever and pain, etc.). you sound like a good mom and im sure that your daughter will come out fine. just keep a good eye on her (monitor breathing every now and again and monitor temp). your MD should have instructed you to call if her fever got really high. be supportive, like with food and comfort, but dont get overly worried. little ones can sense fear and do respond negatively to it. best wishes.
