Do these statements inspire you?

i have been told that because i had a child young that i could have done so much more with my life, this fall i am going to college and then to medical school and going to do my best to become a doctor, i think that sometimes when people say these things it only makes you want to work harder to prove them wrong.... its a sweeter feeling when you know you have done something someone said you never would.
