Are Apple products one of the few products that people are so keen on shooting unboxing videos?

I've owned Apple products for a long time--since 1989 beginning with my Mac SE/30. In recent years since the later iPod models, I've noticed a plethora of videos of people unboxing Apple products. This phenomenon does not seem to be widespread with other consumer electronics. Is that true? And WHY so keen on vidoes of Apple products being unboxed?
